Splat - Adventures in the Arts
Splat - Season One Approaches

Welcome to SPLATweb.org, the official website for SPLAT - Adventures in the Arts.

There's lots of exciting news in the SPLAT studios these days, as we prepare for the imminent release of our first full season of programming.  Barring any unforeseen delays, our first episodes should be making their way out into the world in January of 2010.  We've documented several groundbreaking artists for your viewing pleasure.  Some of the people organizations and topics we'll be visiting are Don Rietz, Anderson Ranch, Peace and Flambe (with Lawrence Voytek, Kat Epple and Michael St. Amand), Nakazato Takashi, Archie Bray, Matt Long, Jason Hess, throwing off the hump, and wood firing.

For a quick sneak preview of some of the imagery we'll be revealing to the world in Season One of SPLAT - Adventures in the Arts, play the video up above.

If you find the playback skipping in any of our videos, you may want to pause it and wait for the entire video to download before you resume playback.  Those with newer computers will experience no problem at all, but older computers with less powerful processors may experience some skipping.

We hope you'll be thrilled at the intimate level of access we're granting you to these personalities and moments. Watching season one of SPLAT will be like having a backstage pass to the global art arena.  Where else can you find in-depth coverage of rare artistic events like these?

And, while you're at it, take a few moments to look at the personal artistic journey of Splat founder, Tim Smith .  This is the path that led one artist to help other artists get to where they need to be.  We think you'll find it inspiring.
