Tim Smith is well suited for his role at the head of SPLAT’s Television Division.

As the host of our television show, Splat – Adventures in the Arts, Tim’s vibrant personality grabs center stage. But it’s his impressive credentials and lifelong dedication to art education that form the foundation of our organization.

Tim is a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has over thirty years experience as a production potter, teacher and fine artist. He has won many awards, including a Robert Rauschenberg Grant, first place in the fine art gallery at Seminole College and a Siggraph Grant for technology. His work has been exhibited in various galleries in Florida, Minnesota, St. Louis and Chicago…including the Morton Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago. Tim served as co-chairman for the Robert Rauschenberg Scholarship Committee on Sanibel Island. He is currently the Visual Arts Department Head at Cypress Lake Center for the Arts in Fort Myers, Florida.

Eric Taubert brings years of internet and print marketing experience to his position as head of SPLAT’s Internet Division.

Eric is the founder of Barometer Media, an internet marketing company based in Cape Coral, Florida. His strong background in writing, photography and graphic design has helped garner considerable market visibility and name recognition for an eclectic client base including major restaurants, international commercial lenders, real estate professionals, oceanfront resorts and his own well-indexed destination website, The Cape Coral Barometer.
